Adobe Font Folio is a collection of more than 2,400 OpenType fonts, designed by several renowned type foundries. OpenType is a format for scalable computer fonts that was built on its predecessor TrueType, retaining TrueType’s basic structure and adding many intricate data structures for prescribing typographic behavior. OpenType is a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation and as of early 2005, there were around 10,000 fonts available in OpenType format. Adobe’s font library makes up under a third of the total, all of which are included in Font Folio.
