Awake allows Power-Users to keep their computer awake on demand without having to manage its power settings.
FancyZones is basically a window manager which allows users to create complex window layouts and then quickly position program windows into these layouts. It has been developed to make multi-tasking easy. You can define a set of window locations for desktop that are drag targets for program windows. When you’ll drag a window into a zone, the window will be resized and re-positioned to fill that zone. You can launch FancyZones using WIN+~ hotkey.
Shortcut Guide shows available keyboard shortcuts (hotkeys) for the current state of the desktop as a full-screen overlay. You can show the Shortcut Guide on screen by pressing and holding the Windows (WIN) key on your keyboard for more than one second (you can customize the holding time limit using PowerToy settings). The guide disappears as soon as you release the Windows key.
PowerRename is an extension for Windows Shell for advanced bulk renaming of files (batch file renamer) using simple search and replace or advanced regular expressions matching.
Image Resizer is a Windows Shell Extension for quickly resizing images. With a simple right click from File Explorer, resize one or many images instantly.
File Explorer extensions right now are just limited to Preview Pane additions for File Explorer. Preview Pane is an existing feature in the File Explorer. To enable it, you just click the View tab in the ribbon and then click “Preview Pane”. It’ll enable following types of files to be previewed: Markdown files (.md), SVG (.svg), developer files and STL file format.
Keyboard Manager allows you to customize the keyboard by remapping keys and creating your own keyboard shortcuts.
PowerToys Run can help you search and launch your app instantly with a simple Alt+Space hotkey and start typing. Window Walker is now inside. Window Walker is an app that lets you search and switch between windows that you have open, all from the comfort of your keyboard. You can launch Window Walker using Ctrl+WIN hotkey. As you are searching for an app, you can use the keyboard up and down arrows to see an Alt-Tab style preview of the windows. In the future, this will be merged into the Launcher project.
Color Picker is a system-wide color picker tool which can be accessed using WIN+Shift+C hotkey. Color Picker allows to pick colors from any currently running application and automatically copies the HEX or RGB values to clipboard.
Mouse Utilities are a collection of features that enhance mouse and cursor functionality on Windows. Currently, the collection consists of 2 apps: “Find My Mouse” which allows users to quickly find or locate their mouse position by double pressing the left Ctrl key and Crosshair over pointer via Ctrl+Alt+P.
Always on Top allows users to put the window in focus always on top using WIN+Ctrl+T hotkey. You can use the same hotkey again to revert the window back to normal.
Screen Ruler allows you to measure pixels on your screen.
Quick Accent is an easy way to write letters with accents.
Text Extractor is similar to Snipping Tool. It copies the text out of the selected region using OCR and puts it on the clipboard.
File Locksmith allows seeing which processes are currently using the selected files.
Hosts File Editor allows users to edit hosts file in an Editor UI. This tool works similar to our exclusive Host Mechanic app.
Mouse Jump allows users to quickly move the mouse pointer long distances on a single screen or across multiple screens.
Paste as Plain Text allows pasting the text contents of clipboard without formatting. The formatted text in the clipboard is replaced with the unformatted text.
